1. What Sally does

Sally lets you describe a webpage you want to monitor, then runs automated checks on a schedule and alerts you when something changes. The setup and alert rules are generated by third-party AI models on a best-effort basis.

Monitors may fetch and render pages, extract selected data, store configuration, run history, errors, highlighted HTML previews, screenshots or image assets, and send alert payloads to the email, webhook, chat, or other notification destinations you configure.

For simple rule-based monitors, Sally may copy and reuse a proven monitor settings from a healthy, high-confidence monitor when another user requests the same exact URL. This is a compute-saving shortcut, not a public search of monitors, and it does not disclose another customer’s identity, raw prompt, account details, notification destinations, results, or history.

Sally is a convenience tool, not a guaranteed data feed, alerting system, or system of record.

2. No guarantees — service provided “as is”

Sally is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• monitors will run on time, or run at all;
• monitors will detect every change, or any specific change;
• alerts will be delivered, delivered on time, or be free of false positives or false negatives;
• target websites will remain reachable, unblocked, or structurally compatible with your monitor;
• the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Do not rely on Sally for time-critical, financial, medical, legal, safety, or other high-stakes decisions. If a missed or delayed alert would cause meaningful harm, use a purpose-built system instead.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Sally uses plan-based limits. Each plan may include limits such as active monitors, checks per period, monitor setups, automatic repairs, AI scans, and notification features.

Creating a monitor, using a proven setup, updating a monitor, or applying an automatic setup repair may count as a monitor setup under your plan.

Checks are counted for each URL fetched. Multi-URL monitors can therefore use more checks per scheduled run than single-URL monitors. Repair checks may have their own quota, separate from any monitor setup used when Sally applies a repair. If you change to a plan with lower limits, monitors above the active-monitor cap may need to be paused or removed.

Paid subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment processor and renew automatically until canceled. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees, applicable taxes, and permitted adjustments shown at checkout or in the customer portal.

You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal when available. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, unless the product states otherwise. Deleting your Sally account may cancel your subscription and remove access immediately.

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in writing. Failed payments, chargebacks, plan downgrades, or usage above plan limits may cause monitors, alerts, repairs, or other paid features to be paused, reduced, or disabled.

We may change plan pricing, included quantities, free allowances, and rate limits at any time. If you are on a paid plan, changes will apply according to the billing terms shown at checkout or in the customer portal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sally to:

• monitor websites in violation of their Terms of Service, robots.txt, or applicable law;
• monitor pages, accounts, feeds, or systems you do not have a lawful right to access, copy, or use;
• submit private, authenticated, secret, credentialed, or tokenized URLs, including links that expose account data, passwords, reset tokens, API keys, or other secrets;
• bypass or evade access controls, paywalls, login walls, CAPTCHAs, anti-bot systems, rate limits, security controls, or technical restrictions imposed by a target site;
• collect personal data in violation of privacy or data-protection laws, or conduct unlawful surveillance, profiling, harassment, discrimination, or stalking;
• overwhelm, attack, or degrade any third-party site or service;
• monitor or distribute illegal, infringing, harassing, or harmful content;
• resell, redistribute, or repackage Sally’s output as a competing monitoring or data-feed service;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse Sally itself, including by circumventing rate limits or plan limits.

You are solely responsible for what you choose to monitor and for the legality of that monitoring in your jurisdiction.

We may throttle, pause, block, or remove monitors that create legal, security, operational, reputational, or abuse risk for Sally, our providers, target websites, or other users.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, create risk for Sally or third parties, or remain inactive for an extended period — with or without notice.

6. Your content and intellectual property

Sally, including its software, branding, UI, and AI prompts, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of Sally except as allowed by these Terms.

You retain ownership of the monitor settings, descriptions, alert logic, and settings you create. You grant us a license to store, process, execute, copy, reuse, adapt, and create derivative monitor settings from them for the purpose of operating, securing, maintaining, improving, and providing Sally, including creating proven setups for other users who request the same exact URL.

Sally does not give you ownership of content, data, prices, listings, images, or other material from target websites, and you are responsible for ensuring you have any rights or permissions needed to use, store, or export monitor results. Sally-generated outputs and extracted results are provided for your use with the service, subject to these Terms and any rights held by third parties.

Some highlighted previews, screenshots, images, or storage objects created while configuring or running a monitor may be accessible to anyone with the URL. Do not monitor pages containing secrets, private account content, confidential business information, sensitive personal information, or tokenized URLs unless you are comfortable with the way Sally stores and processes that material.

Sally may copy and reuse watched page parts, rules, extraction settings, alert logic, page snapshots or images, and related setup metadata from successful simple rule-based monitors to create a monitor for another user who requests the same exact URL. We may generalize the copied setup and replace personalized fields, such as the description and notification email, with generic or requesting-user-specific values. We do not show other users your identity, raw monitor description or prompt, notification destinations, private account details, custom code, monitor results, run history, or URLs they have not independently submitted exactly as part of this feature.

7. Third-party services and target websites

Sally relies on third-party services, including authentication, database, and storage providers; AI model providers for AI-assisted setup, scans, suggestions, and diagnostics; proxy and browser automation infrastructure for page fetching and rendering; email and notification providers; payment processors; hosting, analytics, performance measurement, and infrastructure providers; optional single sign-on providers; and webhook or chat providers when you configure those destinations.

Outages, errors, delays, blocks, provider policy changes, target website changes, or third-party data handling are outside our control. Sally is not responsible for target websites or for the legality, accuracy, availability, or continued accessibility of content from those websites.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sally and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, missed alerts, lost or inaccurate data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of Sally.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to Sally is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) US$50. For users on the free tier, paid amounts are $0.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limits apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may add, change, or remove features at any time, including pricing, plan limits, free allowances, check limits, and alert features.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Sally after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

Except where the laws of your jurisdiction require otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Sally’s principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts with jurisdiction over that location, unless a different forum is required by law.
